Subhrahmanya Chandrasekhar Subhramanya Chandhrasekhar great scientist was known as chandra throughout his life.He was born in Lahore.He is nephew of C V Raman,great physicist. Chadhra was born to well educated family. He was noted as genius in physics during his college days.He was so interested in field of astrophysics.He is renowned for his discovery named as chandrasekhar limit.the chandhra sekhar limit determines the fate of stars.he claimed that end of stars depend on their masses.He was awarded nobel prize on 1983 for his study on structure of star and physical process involved in it .He has made a lot of contributions in field of writing.He was editor of astrophysics journal.
