STUDY OF ADSORPTION ON DIFFERENT TYPES OF CHARCOALS ABSTRACT The present investigation has been so designed as to provide some insight on various aspects of adsorption power of carbon materials. In this investigation we use various types of charcoal of approximately same particle size, namely activated charcoal, wood charcoal, coconut shell charcoal, paddy shell charcoal and studied their power using oxalic acid as adsorbate.
